NEW!!! Breakfast AND Lunch
The Cabot School District has some exciting news for our Panther families!
Beginning Tuesday, September 8th, all students, Pre-K-12th grade, will be provided free breakfast and lunch through December 31, 2020. This includes on-site and Cabot Panther Digital Academy students.
Anyone who has purchased meals since August 31st will also soon receive a retroactive credit to their account.
When we return to school on January 4, 2021, the district will go back to the traditional Free/Reduced/Paid programs. We highly encourage completion of the Free & Reduced Price Meal applications. Current funds in student cafeteria accounts will remain in those accounts and be applied to meal purchases when they resume.
Student Masks
Students are doing very well with these!

Car Riders
Right hand turns into the car rider line are NOT allowed. Please continue driving on and turn around in the dry cleaner's parking lot or the Nacho's Mexican restaurant and get into the turning lane.
For the safety of the children and faculty, cell phone use is NOT permitted in school zones. This includes the car rider line. Please complete all cell phone calls before entering the school zone.
It is helpful to our ladies that call your child if you will put your car sign in the driver's side dash and will hold it up for them to see as you get close. With the sun reflecting off of windshields, and with varying heights of cars, it is sometimes difficult to see the writing. Remember, if you do not have a car tag, we WILL check your identification. If you are sending someone to pick your child up who will not have a car tag, please make sure they know that we will check their ID. They must be on the child's emergency form.
If your child has a car seat, it is helpful for it to be placed on the right side of the car as that is the side students load from. Faculty are unable to buckle children into the car or car seats. If your child needs assistance buckling, please pull to the middle of the lot and assist them so that you do not block the flow of traffic.
If someone other than you is picking up your child, or they are going home a different way than normal, please notify the office as early as possible in the day. Teachers only check emails on their plan times and may not always see DoJo or Remind messages from you. We will ALWAYS send the child home the way you have told us unless we hear from YOU. Do not tell your child to go home a different way without notifying us.

Technology
-If you experience difficulties with your Chromebook not working, please send a picture of the two labels on the back of your computer along with a detailed description to your child's teacher.
- Chromebooks need to be charged every night and sent to school each day. When a child forgets to charge or leaves their Chromebook at home, we have a very limited number of loaners they can use for the day. It's imperative they bring their computer to school each day.
- It is suggested, but not required, that you purchase a carrying case for your child's chromebook. This will help protect it as they carry it to and from school.
