Accessing Your Google Account

Your SDCC Google Account - @myoneclay.net

As the School District of Clay County moves towards the use of the Google Applications for Education, now is a good time to check out your @myoneclay.net Google Account (if you aren’t already using it)!

It's easy to access your @myoneclay.net Google Gmail Account!!

  1. Open the Chrome browser.
  2. Go to mail.google.com
  3. Type in your SDCC @myoneclay.net Google Address. The account is in the following format: firstname.lastname@myoneclay.net. (Ex: duane.weeks@myoneclay.net)
  4. Type in your password. Your network and Google passwords are now the same. If you cannot login to your Google account with your network password, please contact the Service Desk at 904-529-4832 and they will be happy to assist you.

  5. You are in your new SDCC Google Gmail Account!

When can I start using my SDCC Gmail account?

For now your @oneclay.net Outlook account is still the official e-mail account. However, in the coming months once we convert to the Google Applications for Education, it will be important to be familiar with how Gmail functions. You are encouraged to begin practicing with your new @myoneclay.net Gmail account now, so you will be ready for the switch!

Using Google Apps for Education in the OneClay Portal

One last helpful hint...if you use the my.oneclay.net portal you will see icons for the Google Apps for Education. The great thing about the OneClay Portal is that once you log in once and install the extension, you can single sign on straight into your @myoneclay.net Google account.
