Recess Update
Recess will be held outdoors, except when the equipment is excessively slick or rains are heavy. We will typically go out for recess, even when there may be a bit of mist or sprinkling of rain. We want all students to stay warm, healthy, and get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Students will not have outdoor recess when either the air temperature or wind chill factor is 10 degrees fahrenheit or lower.

Note From the Nurse
Fall is upon us now and so is the cold, flu and allergy season! There are many children needing medication during the day, so this is a good time to give a quick reminder to everyone about the school district medication policy.
If you need us to give students medication at school, we must have the following items in place:
- A physician’s order with the time and dose of medicine to be given.
- A signed parent permission form permitting the school to administer medication.
- All medications MUST be in original containers. (Do not send pills or even cough drops in baggies or other containers.)
- Prescription medication must come in the pharmacy bottle. Pharmacies will supply you with an extra bottle for school upon request. Note: the Pharmacy label does not serve as doctor orders.
