Where Learning Takes Flight
A Note from Mrs. Tallent
Hi Cardinals,
This is the last week of STAAR testing...hip, hip, hooray! The students have done a great job of putting forth their best efforts and that is all that we ask of them. Please remember the campus will be closed to visitors this week.
We loved seeing and celebrating our volunteers at the Volunteer Tea. For those that were not able to make it, we would like to express our thanks. The work our volunteers do is crucial to our success! Your time, energy and talents do not go unnoticed! Thank you for everything you do!
In the upcoming weeks, we have our 5th grade manners banquet, our choir and art showcase, field day, and our grade level picnics. Please see the days and time for picnics below! We welcome our parents and families to join us for this special EOY celebration.

2023-2024 Class Considerations- Due By May 5th
Creating class lists each year is a thorough process that takes into consideration students' social/emotional and academic needs, students' learning styles, peer relations, and academic programming. Each child is placed with much care and thoughtful consideration to help him/her grow and have a successful school year. Current teachers, relevant support staff, and administrators provide input into students' class placements. Because there are so many factors that need to be met, it is not possible for us to honor specific teacher requests from parents. We truly believe that each and every one of the teachers at FCE would give nothing but their very best to support your child and provide him/her with a positive and productive school experience. If you have any information that you feel would be helpful for us to know about your child's needs for next year, we encourage you to have a conversation with your child's teacher and fill out the FCE Placement Considerations for Next Year Form we have provided before May 5th. Please do not email specific teacher requests for your child. Thank you for your understanding and trusting that we always have your child's best interest in mind.
