Student Samples
Sometimes you need a good student sample. This site has many different student samples and a wide range of grade levels.
Updates and Other Useful Information
Students in 4th and 7th grade will have some changes to their writing assessment this year. Both grades will be writing an expository essay and the number of multiple choice questions will be shortened. The STAAR Writing Assessment will take place on one day instead of two during a 4 hour time period.

Write for Texas: teaching expository and persuasive texts in all content areas.This professional development will provide practical strategies for applications of formal writing in all content areas.
