How do I get to Where I'm going?

Luther College
Location of College
- Luther College is located in Decorah, Iowa.
- It is about one hour and 15 minutes from Osage, Iowa.
Place of study
- Degree that will be purse would be a Degree in Biology and a Degree in Chemistry.
- The program that I would be interested in would be the Pre-medicine.
In the past ten years 140 students have been accepted into medical school with the help of Luther
Size
- Undergraduate Student Population is 2,500.
- Average class size is a ratio of student to teacher is 12:1.
- Number of acres are 200 acres.
- There are 32 buildings on the campus.
Admission
- ACT score is above average.
High School Grade
- There is no grade point average needed.
- The average grade point average for students who attend is 3.66.
School requirement
- They recommended two years of foreign language but it isn't required.
- I found that before you graduate you need to take one semester of foreign language. This could vary in different programs.
- Three years of math are required.
- There is no specific math classes you need to take.
- Two years of Science are required.
- You need to take a year of chemistry in order to be accepted.
- You will need three years of social science.
- There is no required social science classes.
- Four years of English are required.
- They recommended speech, journalism, or communication.
College Visit Options
- They offer many visit opportunities.
- I have not gone on a visit to Luther College yet.
- I do plan on taking a visit to Luther College though.
Cost
- Tuition for Luther College is $38,170.
- Housing is $7,350.
- Books will be about $1,040.
- Other fees may vary depending on what you do but about average is $460.
Payment for College
- A scholarship I will apply for would be a golf scholarship.
- The deadline for financial aid is March 1st.
- The FAFSA is a Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
- It helps many people by getting them grants and educational loans to help them pay for their college by looking off their income.
Reasons I like this school
- One reason why I like Luther College is that it is small college.
- I also like it because the class sizes is small so that means you could get more one on one time with the professors.
- A third reason I like it is they have the program I think I might want to get into.
Upper Iowa University
Location of the College
- Upper Iowa University is located in Fayette, Iowa.
- It is about one hour and 28 minutes from Osage, Iowa.
Place of Study
- I would pursue a degree in biology and chemistry.
- They do not have the program I would like to continue into.
SIze
- The size of the undergraduate student is about 6,182.
- Average class size is a ratio of student to teacher is 17:1.
- There is about 100 acres on this campus.
- There is about 33 building and counting.
Admission
- The average ACT score is a 22.
- Other than that you don't really need anything.
High School Grade
- Nothing specific was recommended.
- But want to be a high achiever.
School Requirement
- Nothing specific was recommended.
- Try and take higher level classes.
College Visit Options
- They offer many visit opportunities.
- I have not gone on a visit to Upper Iowa University yet.
- I may plan for a future visit.
Cost
- Tuition and fees is about $26,834.
- On-campus Room and Board is about $7,824.
- Books and other supplies would be about $1,400.

- They offered an academic scholarship which is what I would try and get.

Reasons I like this school
- Reasons I like this school is it is a little bigger but not too big.
- Everything seems to be relatively close to each other.
- The class size is small as well so I would have more one on one time to learn.
- The campus looks beautiful from what I saw.
