Thanks to Mrs. Ullas' 2nd-graders for sharing their drawings of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! On Google Meet, Mrs. Ullas's class read a book about the life of Martin Luther King, Jr and wrote their dreams for a peaceful world. Then, they followed a step-by-step video tutorial to create their own illustrations. Mrs. Ullas' students shared great ideas inspired by the life and legacy of Dr. King--ensuring enough food for everyone, seeing all kids play together, respecting each person's differences, and listening to each other without arguing. May we all aspire to live out these ideals inspired by MLK today and throughout the year.

Congratulations to the winners of our new Roosevelt WHEEL OF PIZZA! These amazing students won free pizza delivery for dinner for their families!

How can your child win the next Roosevelt WHEEL OF PIZZA? Students who turn in all of their work in Google Classroom each week earn a spot on a class spinner. On Friday, the teacher spins the spinner LIVE during a Google Meet and announces a winner. Then, Mrs. Mason and Mr. Alexander deliver the delicious pizzas for your family to enjoy!
