We will look at Mount Kilimanjaro, the Kalahari desert, the Indian Ocean, and the Nile river.
Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa and has two different peaks. Kibo is 19,340 feet and Mawenzi towers to 17,564 feet above sea level. On this ex-volcano you can hike, climb, and watch the natural wildlife.
Kalahari Desert
The Kalahari Desert has an area of 100,000 square miles and covers over 3 countries. The desert is located between the Zambezi and Orange Rivers and contains spots of grass during the rainy season which will allow some small grazing or agriculture. In the Kalahari Desert some activities are safaris, watch wildlife, or go sand surfing.
Indian Ocean
The Indian Ocean is the third largest ocean in the World. It spans from Asia to Antarctica and has an average depth of 11,000 feet below sea level. The activities in the Indian Ocean are endless from swimming, to boating , to deep sea diving.
Nile River
The Nile River is the longest river in the world spanning over 8 countries the river is about 4,160 miles long. This river provides some of the agriculture water for Egypt and Sudan. Now a days the river is also used for hydro power and a tourist attraction. In the Nile river people go rafting, swimming, and more.
