Spring/ Mother’s Day Plant Sale ❀
The PTO is organizing a Plant Sale. There will be flats, combo pots, and hanging baskets in a variety of annual flowers and vegetable plants too! Information will be coming home prior to the event including prices and schedule of when students attend with their classes. Volunteers are appreciated and needed to make this event a success. Load in of the plants and flowers will be Tuesday May 8th at 6pm by Door 12. (the alcove by the gym where you enter for dances). Special Education classes shop Wednesday May 9th and the rest of our classes shop Thursday May 10th and Friday May 11th. Families can pre-order long stem roses for their T5 performer for Wednesday May 23rd, 7pm evening concert in the Lloyd Road auditorium. Flyers were sent home with performers and can be found on the school webpage in the Virtual Backpack. Orders are due Wednesday May 16th.

Next school year’s 4th and 5th grade parents will be receiving information about open positions on the PTO for the coming school year. Please consider joining. The PTO is responsible for fundraising and allocating funds to help enhance the education and social interaction of our students. Species on the Edge Art & Essay Contest
The Species on the Edge Art and Essay Contest is run through the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey. The contest empowers 5th grade students to advocate for an endangered or threatened species from New Jersey through a well-researched, creative essay and original art piece. Many of our Grade 5 students participated.
Congratulations to Angelina Santapaula and Bailey McBride for being notified that their essays were selected as winners in this year's competition.
Athletic & Co-Curricular physical form deadlines to remember
DEADLINE DATES FOR THE 2018-2019 School Year for Sports and Intramural Activities at the High School, Middle School and Lloyd Road
June 1, 2018: Deadline to hand in physical paperwork to Lloyd Road Nurse for all 5th Graders going to MAMS in the Fall, 2018.
June 5th, 2018 Deadline for ALL sports paperwork to be received at the High School or Middle school in order to participate in any SUMMER camps and Clinics.
