WELCOME!!!
Welcome to our class newsletter. Our class newsletter will provide you with upcoming important dates and information you will need for this school year. We have also attached important school links and resources for you to utilize. We look forward to working with your children this school year.
REMIND101
With the seasons and weather changing it is important to stay informed. If you haven’t signed up for REMIND101, please take a couple minutes to do so. It is completely FREE!

Field Trip INFO for volunteer parents
If you are volunteering to come to our field trip…there are a few things we need to complete prior to:
If you are coming – you must have completed the background check.
You need to have $5 CASH with you on the day of the field trip.
On the morning of the field trip – you must go inside the office and get an ID/Volunteer sticker and be approved of your background check in order to accompany the school…then you will be allowed to FOLLOW the school bus (you are NOT permitted to ride on the bus) to the location of the field trip.

Monday, May 23: "My Future’s so Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades" .....wear sunglasses
Tuesday, May 24: College Spirit Day....wear a college t-shirt
Wednesday, May 25: "Tip Your Hat to Your Favorite College"......wear a college hat
Thursday, May 26: "College isn’t Just a Dream
It’s the Plan!".....wear school appropriate pj’s
Friday, May 27: Field Day (no dress up day)
PTA SPIRIT SHOP
PTA will have the Spirit Shop available for students on May 29th, before school.
Make-Up Play Day!!
Please have the students bring a disposable sack lunch and snacks. They may bring water and Gatorade. They will be busy all day with their events…so if you feel they need “extra lunch” or snacks, please send this with your child!

Field Trip
Field Trip Day!!!
Students need a disposable sack lunch/drink and should dress appropriate for the weather. This is an outside walking tour. Please make sure your child wears appropriate shoes for walking all day.
Dallas Heritage Village is home to the largest and finest collection of 19th century pioneer and Victorian homes and commercial buildings in Texas. These buildings, moved from throughout North Central Texas to Dallas’ first city park, line the tree-shaded 20-acre setting of Dallas Heritage Village. Stroll the grounds and discover what life was like over 100 years ago for ordinary Texans.
