ALL SAINTS DAY CELEBRATION
Dear Parents,
We would like to invite our students in pre-kindergarten through 4th grade to dress as a favorite saint for our All Saints Day Celebration of the Eucharist on Thursday, November 1st, 2018.
If you choose for your child to participate, which is completely optional, we ask that costumes be very simple. An example is a tunic which can easily be placed over the regular uniform, with perhaps a veil or cowl. We want to be a source of reverence and not distraction. A card identifying the saint should be pinned to the costume or worn as a small placard around the neck.
Costumes may be worn (over regular uniform) to school that morning. Students in costume will be asked to stand in place and be recognized during Mass. All costumes are removed in the classroom after Mass, so please send a bag for the costume to be carried home.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Osborn through the school office.
WE GIVE OUR HEARTS TO SUPPORT HUMAN LIFE
Students who participated in the October service project should
bring their hearts to Mass next Thursday, November 1st.
They will be collected before Mass and presented on the altar.
