Warrior Life
We had a great week at Warren! This week our 8th and 7th grade students took various benchmarks to help them asses how well they know the content and areas to work on. In addition, there were many fun and exciting lessons taking place on campus. Mrs. Cates classes created knuckle topographic maps. Mrs. Wetzel's classes worked on analyzing the characters in Legend. Mr. Olgin's classes completed a Breakout over the Texas Revolution. We are very proud of how they performed and conducted themselves. Mr. Ernest's College & Career clasess worked on teamwork and communication through a blindfold activity. This week our One Act Play students got display all of their hard work as they competed this week. We are very proud of the countless hours they put in for preparation. Our Star Steppers performed and did a phenomenal job taking home Sweepstakes and Judges awards as well as many other awards.
Our basketball teams finished off their season this week against Royse City. The girls basketball team played and fought hard. Both 7th and 8th grade girls C team came away with the victory. The boys A team won in dramatic fashion with a nail biter. The C team also won while B team could not come out with the win. The 8th grade A & B team both fought hard but could not pull off the win, while C team did come away with the win. Our staff was very appreciative of the lunch our girls basketball parents provided.
We are very proud of our Warriors and all of their hard work! We look forward to a great week this week.
