Principal's Notes
Dear Parents,
Our students and staff recite our school's creed in the yard each morning. There are four main focus areas noted in our creed: living like Jesus, learning new things, respecting everyone, and caring for our world. Our first quarter Mission Collection is being taken up for UCSF's Family House. Family House serves as a home away from home for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by providing physical comfort and emotional support, free from financial concerns. There is no better cause than to help eliminate the financial concerns of a family whose child is suffering from a life-threatening condition. On Friday, Sept. 20, our student body will have a volunteer from Family House tell them more about how their money will in essence be "caring for our world-wide family." If we can help our students understand the importance of truly caring for our world-wide family, then our students really will be able to make a difference in our world! Thanks for your support of our Mission Collections.
