Attention 3-5 Grade Teachers
Please make sure to give your students the Student Engagement Inventory Surveys between now and Wednesday, September 21, 2016. In your box you will find a white envelope with the directions and the survey form. Please have your students write their student number in the upper left corner and bubble the corresponding numbers. All students in your class need to take the survey. Once completed, please place all of the surveys in your envelope and include a sticky with your name on the front of the envelope. Return completed surveys in the envelope to Jillian's office. There is a box labeled surveys to place them in.
Imagine Learning - (ESOL students who attend the lab in the mornings): Please make sure students who are suppose to attend the morning lab for ESOL with Ms. Pagan & Ms. Haile are going every day unless the teachers cancel for standardized testing. It is important that students attend as their progress on the program drives our number of licenses to use each year. If a student arrives in your room and has not gone to the lab, please send them to the lab.
October 10, Teacher Work day - Take time on the work day to stop by Jan Bradley's room if you have any science questions or units that Jan can help you with for the upcoming 9 weeks.
Q12 Employee Engagement Survey - September 19-October 3 Please be on the look out for a survey coming to your GCPS email in the next week. It will be from Gallup, do not delete. Please take the time to take the survey as it is important to our work here at Gwin Oaks.

SAFARI Montage Resources for Constitution Day
Did you know that GCPS is celebrating Constitution Day? Per legislation passed in 2005, all federally funded educational institutions must have an educational program addressing the United States Constitution for Constitution Day. SAFARI Montage offers excellent resources to help with this! Do a keyword search for “Constitution” and you will find hundreds of results, including videos, documents, Web resources, and eBooks for all grade levels. Check out a couple of the videos below.
· Constitution Day – Grades: K to 4
· U.S. Constitution, The – Grades: 5 to 10
Also, don't forget about the resources from the U.S. Constitution Center that can help support this day.

Here are some important things for you to know about Reflections:
