Student-Faculty Interaction Outside of the Classroom is GREAT!

There is much research compiled since the 1970s that indicates interaction between students and their instructors outside the classroom environment has great benefits for students. And this is especially true for international students. Students have the chance to talk with their professors on a personal level without the stress of class being an inhibiting factor. Students benefit from hearing the stories and advice of faculty. Students feel more deeply connected to their campus community. So take advantage of these wonderful opportunities!
