Most Important Belief

In Buddhism the main belief is resolving the problem of human existence. This is the reason that most people even follow the Buddha, and his practices. More important beliefs are the 5 precepts. The five precepts are guidelines on how to life your life. 1st precept abstain from killing, 2nd abstain from taking what is not given, 3rd avoid sexual misconducts, 4th abstain from fermented drink that causes heedlessness.

Why Do They Believe That

people who are part of Buddhism believe in what the Buddha says and will follow what he thinks are right and will question life. People will also follow the 5 precepts like Buddha thought were the rules that everyone should remember and use them on a day to day basses. In a way it seems as though the Buddhist life follows in the foot steps of Buddha.

Why Do People Want To Follow The Teachings Of This Religon

The monotheistic people want to follow Buddha's teachings to attain perfection. The best way to do so is to follow the 5 precepts. Since Buddhist people believe in reincarnation, the way to tell you attained perfection is to be reincarnated into a another life form.

How Does this Religion Justify its Actions Against Non-Believers

This religion, which is supposed to be peaceful, seems to be involved in lots of violence caused by religion. There have been fights and riots in Asia because of Asians not believing in Buddhism. For example in 1970, monks were killing communists because they wouldn't convert to Buddhism. There also has been peaceful encounters as well, the monks explained themselves and their religion. This way actually caused people convert.

Current Event

On July 12, 2013 22 Buddhists were convicted of murdering 42 Muslims because of an Anti-Muslim situation some people had to go to jail for up to 10 years! This situation was caused when a Buddhist monk went into a gold traders shop and got into an argument with the guy working there because Buddhist's don't believe in receiving gold or silver and because the owner was Muslim. One thing lead to another and the monk killed the shop owner. The effect on the Buddhist were good and bad, good because they kill Muslims, and bad because they go to jail. Its just bad for the shop owner and the Muslims because they died in this situation. When people doesn't understand each others religion this is what happens.

Symbols And Artifacts

Many artifacts, art, and carvings were discovered in ancient India and can be found in other religions like Hinduism. Some examples of religious artifacts are........

-the Buddha was created in India during the 5th century. this represents the Buddha

-8 spoked wheel was created during the 5th century as well it represents the teachings of Buddha

song lyrics

Enter the imagination, explore the dreamlike plains
And know the things will never be the same again
Confide- begin the initiation, an offer to dream and drift away
Abide- as you go clarity will descend upon the vague

Unobserved I am the noumenon
Hidden out of sight, I'm the elusive one
While observed I'm the phenomenon
Miracle in sight, distorting concepts of minds

That's where ideas will never cease to roam (dream and drift away)
And where impressions never cease to flow (follow)

Resist- defy every calculation of reason explaining me away
Persist- unfold what is beyond, I am the mutant strain

Unobserved I am the noumenon
Hidden out of sight, I'm the elusive one
While observed I'm the phenomenon
Miracle in sight, distorting concepts of minds

That's where ideas will never cease to roam (dream and drift away)
And where impressions never cease to flow (follow)

I deny faithseekers who seek spaces within
Their cause and quest forsaken
You can't find what is already here

And as you dream of rain, on earth it falls
Balanced internally, all things become entwined

Unobserved I am the noumenon
Hidden out of sight, I'm the elusive one
While observed I'm the phenomenon
Miracle in sight, distorting concepts of minds

That's where ideas will never cease to roam (dream and drift away)
And where impressions never cease to flow (follow)
When unobserved I am the Noumenon, I am the mutant strain
And while observed I'm the phenomenon, unveiled

And as you dream of rain, on earth it falls
Balanced internally, all things become entwined

this is a song called Noumena this is a Muslim song. this song is peaceful like the Buddhist monks. The song questions life just like the Buddhists main goal is so if both of these religions hate each other? I just found one reason they can be compared their religions instead of killing each other they could just agree with one another about their similarities and differences. this song relates to both religions because they are both peaceful and without them knowingly they are similar.
