LOVEJOY LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN
It’s that time of year again to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff with our Lovejoy Letter Writing Campaign! Many of you are familiar with this beloved tradition, but for those of you who are not, it is the time of year when current and past students and parents write appreciation letters for each of our teachers and staff members across the district.
The letters do not have to be elaborate or lengthy. The goal is just for people to write a note of thanks to show gratitude to their teachers, the staff and administration in our district. It is an opportunity for us to take the time to let each person who makes a difference for us throughout the school day know how much we value them.
Please clearly label the envelope with the staff/teacher’s name and LLC (Lovejoy Letter Campaign) and return the letter to the box located in the designated area at your school no later than Friday November 11th.
The letter writing campaign has become such a meaningful tradition in our district. We really appreciate your time and effort to help us tell our teachers and staff thank you for all that they do!
SAY THANKS WITH PIE!
The Lovejoy High School PTSO, with your help, is planning to provide a delicious bundt cake or pie for each staff member at Lovejoy High School. Along with our amazing letter writing campaign, what a great opportunity to give thanks and appreciation to each staff member that touches the lives of our children. Please sign up to help below!
Thank you in advance for your help. We would not be able to do this without the generous donations of our Lovejoy Community!

Amazing job to all the teams representing your community!

The Lovejoy Band competed in their first Bands of America Regional in Waco this past weekend. This contest featured some of the best 28 bands in the country all looking for a spot in finals for the evening show. The Lovejoy band placed 10th in prelims locking in a spot in finals and moved up to 7th in the finals presentation.
It takes many groups years if at all to make it into the prestigious "night show" at a BOA Regional and The Lovejoy Band was right in the mix with the best, their first time out.
