Principal's Note:
Dear Spartans
It was wonderful to see so many families last night at our Incoming 9th Grade Preview Night. Thank you to everyone who attended and played a role in presenting.
Our website has been updated to include the most up-to-date information.
Next week, students will take their marking period 2 Common Assessments. Wednesday (25th) & Thursday (26th) are the two school days designated as such. These are half days. The Special bell schedule is attached. Students enrolled in a 7th hour will take their assessment on Tuesday (24th). There is no school Friday (27th).
Please keep in mind that 1st semester grades are an average of MP1 & MP2 grades. Each marking period counts as 50% of a student’s overall semester grade. Semester grades are what appear on student transcripts. Semester 1 grades will be viewable Feb. 1st.
Semester 2 begins on Monday, January 30th. 2nd semester schedules will be viewable on Parent/Student Connect on Monday (23rd).
Good luck to all students on their upcoming assessments.
All the best!
Pete Mazzoni
