Martin Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King, Jr. is a great example of a leader who had courage. He was known for fighting against racial discrimination in a non-violent way, known for leading the civil rights movement, and giving his speech "I Have a Dream". MLK was courageous because he knew that his life could be ended at any moment in time. He marched, spoke and sang about what he believed in and many white people didn't agree with him. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a good example of a courageous leader because he faced his skeptics with his powerful words even though there was always a chance of being harmed.
