Nurse's News
Please remember that all medication (both prescribed and over the counter) must come through the office. A medication administration form must be completed by parents (and an MD if a prescribed medication). Please do not allow your child to bring in medication or carry medication in their backpacks, all meds should be brought in by an adult. This will help to make sure other St. Louis or BCSC children will not have access to medication that does not belong to them.
Thank you for your continued support!

Safety Concern
There is a growing number of students being picked up by cars in front of the school, on 229/Main St., and in the front church parking lot during afternoon dismissal. This causes concern for the students walking in this area due to the high amount of traffic.
As a reminder, it is school policy that all car riders be picked up in the parking lot behind the church during afternoon dismissal. Only students who truly walk to their home or a location should exit through the front of the school. Please remind any grandparents, babysitters, etc. who pick students up at dismissal of our school policy. Thank you for helping us keep all of our students safe!

Little Wish Foundation
The Results Are In!
The 8th-grade students voted from a list of their top charities choices to donate the proceeds of money collected at All School Masses from late August until December. The charity that received the most votes was the little wish foundation.
The littlewishfoundation.org provides comfort, hope and joy to children battling cancer. Currently, the organization has granted 2,000 wishes for children across the country. Indiana hospitals that they support include Peyton Manning’s Children’s Hospital and Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis and Carmel.
The total amount collected was $224.03. Thank-you for your contributions.

Dear JUNIOR HIGH Parents,
We are excited for another year of Accelerated Reader (AR)! And that also means we are excited for the upcoming AR AUCTION!
In order for the year to be a success, we are in need of MUCH assistance. If anyone is willing to help chair the event with myself and another parent, that would be awesome! Shoot me an email at sgiesting@st.louisschool.org and let me know. I would like to have two parents by March 1, 2020.
We could use your help and generosity in others ways to help us get awesome prizes:

Make a cash/check donation to go towards a gift (tax deductible - let me know via email if you need this number). Make checks payable to St. Louis / memo: AR Auction
Donate $10.00 for food/drink for the event
Volunteer to be part of the committee to work the day of (crowd control help, auction table worker, point tallier, etc.)
* THIS IS ALL OPTIONAL SO PLEASE DO NOT FEEL LIKE YOU MUST DONATE. WE HAD AN AMAZING TURN OUT LAST YEAR AND SET THE BAR HIGH FOR OURSELVES - We had just over $3,000 in prizes!*
