DISTRICT UPDATE 2/2/2021

STUDENTS IN GRADES K-12

SCHEDULE: Students in all grades are on their regular daily attendance schedule at this time.

MASK MANDATE: Students in grades 8-12 are under a mask mandate. Students in the lower grades are expected to voluntarily wear masks and are encouraged to wear masks when social distancing cannot occur.

DIGITAL LEARNERS: Currently, 10% of all enrolled students are participating from home as digital learners.

COVID POSITIVE UPDATE

As of 2/1/2021, we have 20 active student cases and 2 active staff cases. We are happy to report this trend and want to thank everyone for the many ways we are working together to stay well. Keep up the good work!

We are closely following the "TENNESSEE LEARNING LOSS REMEDIATION AND STUDENT ACCELERATION ACT," which passed the TN General Assembly in recent weeks. Based on forthcoming guidance we expect from the state, our principals will soon begin developing detailed, site-based plans to address the requirements of this bill and our students' needs.
