I am so excited about my transformation and for the first time in my life I have been able to KEEP the weight off! - I had to take a moment and share my new found opportunity with those I care about. I come in contact with a lot of women and I see and hear many situations that are similar to my own but I never had a solution that I could share that actually worked. Over the years my health had began to deteriorate and it was affecting me on various levels. I have herniated disk's in my back from a military injury I sustained in 2008. Torn Meniscus in both knees from improper running conditions and extreme wear and tear on my body. Stomach ulcers from worrying about things I have no control over. I have drank herbal tonics, took prescribed medications that seemed to do nothing and only kept my injuries and illnesses at bay. I was under the assumption that moderate exercise "at my own pace" would keep me in shape. I would diet, loose 10 lbs and gain back 15! A few of my clients had been telling me about the personal trainer they were going to at Standard Fitness Studios and invited me to come out. I gave every excuse I could think of - for over a year.

In October of 2013 I was diagnosed with Tendonitis in my right elbow and was told that I would need to stop doing hair! Taking care of others is my passion. But I had failed to take care of MYSELF - This was my turning point. I looked at myself in the mirror and said "Baby Girl, We CAN NOT continue living our life like this."


I signed up for the 6 week Challenge! I have to be honest and say I didn't take it serious at first because my mental focus wasn't in line with what the trainer had me doing! My body was weaker than I realized. 15 lb weights felt like 50 lb weights. Some of the ladies in the class were in better shape than me and their results were noticeable. Just watching them was very motivating to me! - I decided to get serious.
