Tomorrow at 7 PM is the final showing of our theatre department's production Into the Woods. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, please make plans to attend tomorrow.
And the Army Goes Marching Along...the Mustang Cross Country Army who went down to Round Rock yesterday and made us proud. Our Women's team finished 6th in the State! Congratulations and a job well done to all the coaches and players who've worked so hard to accomplish this feat.

This Thursday, November 9th we will be honoring our Veterans with our annual Veterans Day program. Veterans will meet in the library from 7:45 AM - 8:40 AM followed by our red carpet escort of our Veterans to the auditorium around 8:40 AM. The program will begin at 9:00 AM with brunch following for our special guests. Please invite the special Veteran(s) in your life to take part in this noble event put on by our GHS Leadership students. Veterans on staff, we'd be honored to celebrate you on this day. Grapevine High School Honored for College-Going Culture
The College Board awarded Grapevine High School a Silver recognition for their commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit and maximizing college readiness.
The distinction is part of the College Board’s AP (Advanced Placement) School Honor Roll program launched in October 2023. To earn the recognition, a school must achieve or surpass the following criteria:
College Culture: 40 percent or more of the graduating cohort took at least one AP Exam during high school.
College Credit: 25 percent or more of the graduating cohort scored a three or higher on at least one AP Exam during high school.
College Optimization: Two percent or more of the graduating cohort took five or more AP Exams during high school. At least one of those exams was taken in ninth or 10th grade, so that students are spreading their AP experience across grades rather than feeling disproportionate pressure in any single year.

They even met with GCISD’s Competitive Robotics teams to discuss strategy for the BELL Recon, Rescue and Firefighting Challenge taking place on Friday, November 10th at UT Arlington.
