Character & Citizenship Lesson
MGSD Responsible Use Policy
OBJECTIVE
A Responsible Use Policy is a policy that treats the student as a person who is responsible for their own ethical and appropriate use of the Internet and their devices. MGSD students and parents/guardians are required to view the Training Video and signing the RUP prior to the students receiving a district technology device.
Students: Even if you don't remember what the policy stated, you agreed to follow the policy in order to use the laptop you have been assigned.
This lesson is meant to remind you of important points from the RUP.
Where to find the RUP
Visit the MGSD website. Hover over "Departments", click on "Technology", then "MGSD Technology Department" in left menu. In the same left menu, click on "Documents" then "Responsible Use Policy".
