Hello Jackson Families!

Kindergarten's performance of Goldilocks and the Three Bears last Thursday was "just right"! Way to go Kindergarten! We hope to see a lot of former Jackson students tomorrow afternoon at the 2016 Senior Reunion. Don't forget to "roll on over" tomorrow night to Skate Night at Thunderbird Roller Rink from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 27, and Monday, May 30, are student holidays!

Please check out Jackson's 2016 Summer Reading Challenge (below) and take a look at the Summer Reading Lists that are full of suggested titles to help your students meet the reading challenge. Recreational reading is not only fun; it is also vital for educational growth. Studies prove that continued reading during the summer months is important for preventing "summer slide" when the next school year begins!

We hope you and your family enjoy the long weekend!

Teacher vs Teacher Kickball Tournament 6/2

Thursday morning, June 2, Jackson teachers will battle it out in a kickball tournament behind Jackson. We need parent volunteers to watch over students while they watch their teachers in a heated teacher vs teacher game! If you would like to assist during this competition, please sign up using the Signup Genius link. Feel free contact me if you have any questions at darcyjames@me.com.

You must already be an approved PISD volunteer to participate.
