A Message from the Administrative Team
Hi WJHS Families,
While is still feels like summer, we are getting ready for fall and all that this entails!
One event we are excited to announce is our participation once again in the annual ADL Walk Against Hate. Every year on the 5-8 campus, we partner with the ADL to host events for students and their families as we work toward being a community free of hate. In fact, your child will soon learn more about how they can get involved in this effort through our No Place for Hate team that will soon be kicking off.
Sunday, October 10 is the date of this year's annual Walk Against Hate, and we will be hosting an informal in-person walk starting and ending at Highcrest Middle School at 9:00 AM that day. We will plan to walk about 2 miles around Wilmette, and we will have signs and snacks to enjoy our time as a team!
To participate, please register as a part of our team (Wilmette 5-8 Walk Against Hate) at:
https://www.walkagainsthate.org/Chicago/58walkagainsthate. No donation is needed to participate.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Kate, Jeff and Eric
