A Message From The Principal
October 2021
Good Afternoon EBE Community,
First off, I would like to thank you for your support over the last 6 weeks. The opening of schools is a multifaceted process on a typical year, not to mention throwing in all the uncertainties presented by the current state of affairs. Your support played a huge role in us starting school and thriving so far. I will be the first to admit that masks are not my first preference. However, if given the option of wearing masks or have our students learn from home, I overwhelming prefer learning in person. Thank you for supporting the mandates even if it runs counter to your personal viewpoints.
Judging from what I've observed in the first six weeks of school, I can confidently say that our students are happy and having a blast. Our district, starting with our superintendent, has made a commitment to the social-emotional well-being of our students and school personnel. In other words our focus is making sure that we try to get back to some form of normalcy as quickly as possible. We want our students to enjoy coming to East Bradford to learn and have lots of fun.
Color Run
Speaking of fun, the color run was such an incredible event. We finally had a chance to have a schoolwide celebration. It was nice to see everyone having fun, enjoying each other’s company and not having to worry about Covid. I am still astonished that we had over 300 people sign-up. I loved seeing our students wear their shirts drenched in bright colors and faces accented with beautiful bright smiles. I also managed to get soaked in the dunk tank by some pretty promising pitching arms. I would like to send a huge thank you to everyone that participated. A special thank you to our wonderful PTO and all our volunteers who put the event together.

Notes from the Nurse
- If your child is feeling ill, please keep them home and consult your pediatrician. For additional guidance please click here to view the Daily Health Screening.
- When your child is sick they should not return to school until their symptoms are improved and they are fever free without use of fever reducing medication for 24 hours. Children with an active cough, due to illness, should remain at home until their cough has improved. Please consult the School Nurse with extenuating circumstances like asthma or seasonal allergies.
- When your child is sent home from school by the nurse, guidance will be given if a Covid-19 test is recommended.
- If you are notified by a community organization that your child has been identified as a close contact, please contact the school nurse for additional guidance and to ensure that your student’s absence will be excused.
- Please send a reusable water bottle to school with your student every day.
- Please send an extra set of seasonably appropriate clothes in your student’s book bag. If your student has a spill or an accident and does not have extra clothes, we may need to call you to deliver clothes to the school.
