"Grandma's Closet" Chaddock Collection
We would like to bring donations for "Grandma's Closet" with us to Chaddock. Grandma's Closet at Chaddock is dedicated to the daily personal needs of their clients. Chaddock serves over 400 children daily in their Residential, Foster Care and School programs. They supply basic necessities such as hygiene supplies and clothing, as well as items for comfort such as pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, toys, and books. The children of Chaddock access Grandma's Closet with the assistance of staff to ensure their needs are met. As the number of clients continue to grow, it is imperative that they maintain an adequate supply of Grandma's Closet items.
We are asking for the following items:
*personal hygiene products,
*underwear (all sizes for boys & girls),
*or you can make a financial contribution.
Since we are limited to one car making the trip, monetary donations would allow for us to purchase more items once we arrive in Quincy. You can bring your donations these next few Sundays or drop them off during office hours on Mondays and Tuesdays.
New Worship Procedures
Join us this Sunday, in the Sanctuary, at 9:30 AM!
We understand that not everyone might be ready to come back to indoor worship, so we ask that you attend how you feel most comfortable. We will be offering three ways to worship:
1. Inside the Sanctuary (more information on that below)
2. Via Facebook Live
3. The previously recorded Facebook Live service
NEW IN-DOOR WORSHIP RULES:
1. FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES.
We do this for each other’s safety. If you do not have one, we will have a supply on hand.
2. YOU MUST SIGN UP ONLINE IN ADVANCE.
We will be capping Sanctuary attendance at 65 people. Sign-up will be first come, first serve. The sign-up link is below (via Sign-Up Genius). IF you have issues with on-line sign up or know someone who cannot access it, please call the church office to get signed up, you can leave a voicemail if no one answers and we will return your call.
3. CHURCH MONITORS WILL ASSIST YOU WITH SEATING AND DISMISSAL.
We will have monitors in place controlling the flow. Seating will be socially distanced according to family groups. Monitors will seat families AND they will dismiss by rows. All will be encouraged to move through the narthex to the outdoors. There, you will be able to speak with one another at a recommended social distance.
4. THERE IS NO NURSERY OR KINGDOM QUEST.
Children are welcome and encouraged to sit with their parents during worship. There will be a children’s sermon during worship, but children will remain in the pews during it. Kids ages 2 and under do not need to wear a face mask.
5. WE WILL NOT HAVE PRAYER CARDS, BULLETINS, BIBLES OR HYMNALS.
Please send in prayer requests to Dani in advance either via email or phone. The order of worship will be available by Power Point during worship, we will not be using bulletins. There will be not be Bibles or hymn books in the pews.
If you would like to use one, please bring one from home.
We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday! Click the link below to sign up!

Small Group Meetings with Pastor Linda Starting Soon!
We will be scheduling small group meetings in order to get acquainted either by Zoom or in person using social distancing protocol. Options will be available for both, as many may not feel comfortable yet meeting in person. Scheduling will begin this coming week. If you are interested in a meeting, please send Dani an email!
HIGHWAY CLEAN-UP
Highway Cleanup is back! For all of you new members and friends, PUMC is responsible for cleaning Cedar Hills Dr. from Knoxville/Rt. 40 to Bland Rd. (See map below.)
We need 6-10 people meeting in the Banner School parking lot at 9:00 a.m. for approximately 1 hour on the last Saturday of the month. If there is a Sunday School class or family that would like to do it as a group but at a different time/day, that is great -- just get in touch with Lois Yoches (243-5062) or contact the office.
The county supplies the neon, reflective vests and trash bags; each person should bring working gloves and sturdy shoes. The cleanup works best if one person stays on the top portion of the ditch and one covers the lower part so no one has to walk up and down the steep ditch.
Next clean-up is Saturday, July 25th! See you in the Banner School parking lot at 9:00 am!

FACEBOOK LIVE
Every Sunday we will be going Facebook Live during the 9:30 worship service! The live link will be posted to PUMC's Facebook page shortly before 9:30 and you can join the service in real time. You can watch it from your phone, desktop, or stream to your TV. It's a great opportunity for all of us to worship together in real time, even if we aren't all together physically.
While you’re watching a Facebook livestream, you can weigh in with comments, and the broadcaster and other viewers will see your thoughts in real time. You can also invite friends to watch the same stream or share it to them.
The link will remain on our Facebook page, so if you join in late, or need to watch it at a later time, you can still view the video. This will now take the place of our pre-recorded services.
AND if you have not yet "liked" Prospect's Facebook page, the link has been provided below for you!
HOW TO WATCH OUR VIDEOS IF YOU DON'T HAVE FACEBOOK:
