Thank you for considering Thirty-One to help you raise funds for your organization, cause, or trip. Below is information that will help you run your fundraiser smoothly. If you have a question that is not answered below, please feel free to contact me.

Steps to a successful fundraiser:

  1. Set a goal for how much you want to sell and go for it! $1000 in products sold means $150 for your organization or cause! These products are so easy to sell and they are different from normal fundraiser items.

    (You will also earn "hostess" benefits and earn free and discounted products that you can use to raffle off or whatever your organization decides to do --- $1000 party would get you 5 items at half price and $200 in FREE products and the benefits just increase with the more products sold!)

  2. Send out at least 30-40 “e-invitations” and talk to as many people face-to-face as possible. This will ensure that you get closer to meeting your goal. You will receive an email from me with a link to the hostess web portal where you can send e-invitations and keep up with your guest list as well!

  3. Plan to make reminder calls or emails 2-3 days before your fundraiser ends.

2 ways your guests can order:

IN PERSON: you give them a catalog and they fill out the order form. Cash, check, or credit card payment is due upon ordering. Checks made payable to Lani Rhodes.

PLEASE CHECK BACK-ORDERED AND UNAVAILABLE ITEMS BEFORE COMPLETING ORDER! PLEASE READ EMBROIDERY CODES IN BACK OF CATALOG (E1, E2, etc.) TO ENSURE PROPER ORDERING. PERSONALIZED ORDERS CANNOT BE RETURNED.

ONLINE: guests can go to www.MyThirtyOne.com/Lani31Gifts and click on ‘Place an Order.’ (You will repeat this on the next screen as well.) Your name will be displayed where they can just click on it and go shopping while giving you the credit!

How to calculate an order:

  1. Add the product total (plus any embroidery fees),
  2. Add 8% shipping and handling (add $4.00 to that price if they want it shipped directly to them),
  3. Calculate sales tax from product total + shipping (whatever % sales tax is in your area),
  4. Add all those numbers together.

DON’T FORGET TO INFORM THOSE ORDERING OUR MONTHLY SPECIAL. AND PLEASE HAVE THEM COMPLETE THE ENTIRE TOP PORTION OF THE ORDER FORM!

My responsibilities as your consultant:

  1. Provide all materials necessary for fundraiser including catalogs, order forms, and business updates, as well as online management/invitation coaching.
  2. Provide order support, including help with embroidery choices.
  3. Provide a check for the agreed percentage amount of the entire sales (product total less tax and shipping). A check will be issued after I receive commission on the 10th of each month. For safety and integrity, the check will not be made payable to individuals, but to the organization.
  4. Keep fundraiser open for the agreed amount of time. If,for some reason, a customer’s order does not follow embroidery guidelines or an item is on back order or no longer available, I will try to contact the hostess or customer to find a solution. If a solution cannot be reached, the item will not be ordered and the customer will receive a refund.

Your responsibilities as the fundraiser organizer:

  1. Provide accurate information about your cause.
  2. Pray that God will provide through this fundraiser.
  3. Work hard and be positive during the fundraising process.
  4. Consult the Business Update for back-ordered and unavailable items in order to collect correct orders.
  5. Consult the embroidery guide in order to collect correct embroidery orders.
  6. Provide me, your consultant, with all correctly calculated, completed orders and payments by the agreed-upon date.
