From the Office...
Hello STEAM Families,
We hope you enjoyed the Pancake and Sausage Dinner last night! Over 400 people joined us for dinner, and it was great. We have so many things planned for the school year, and we hope your child shares these things with you. However, we know some children respond, "Nothing," when you asked "What did you do at school today?" Here are some questions from Thomas Lickona's book, "How to Raise Kind Kids." These questions might help you around the dinner table!
What was the best part of your day and why?
What's something nice you did for someone today?
What's something nice someone did for you?
What happened today that you didn't expect?
What's something you're looking forward to?
What are you grateful for today?
What's something you're worried about?
What's the hardest thing about being your age?
If you could be granted three wishes, what would they be?
Who is someone you really admire?
What do you wish we did more often as a family?
If you could talk with anyone from history, who would it be? What would you ask them?
Thank you for sharing your children with us!

Technology Reminders
Student devices go home for grades 1-6.
Please partner with us - parents, if you want to know what teachers are asking students to do with their device please ASK teachers (email, call).
Devices should be charged at home and brought to school fully charged each day.
Suggestion: designate a family charging station - NOT in the student’s bedroom.
Designate work area and don’t allow in bedroom at night.
Report concerns to school administrators or teachers when you have any concerns
Content filtering for internet access at home is left up to parents, parents control what is accessible at home for your students.
