February 5, 2024
Dear Families,
We had our monthly Panther Pride Assembly this past Friday where we celebrated our Panthers of the Month. Congrats to Landon S., Colton M., Parker G., Callie C., Manha M., Brielle K., Claire H. and Reid H.. for being selected as our February Panthers of the Month!
Additionally, our three traveling trophies that are nominated by our PE, Art, and Music specialists for showing consistent Panther Pride in our specials classrooms were passed on to the following classes:
Golden Sneaker - Mrs. Kaun’s 1st grade class
Golden Paintbrush - Mrs. North’s 4th grade class
Golden Kazoo - Ms. Sauer’s 5th grade class
As we continue to celebrate our differences at PV, we emphasized at our February assembly that Kindness is a universal language and we will be following a daily Kindness challenge for the month of February to spread the cheer of being kind. Each morning on our daily announcements we will have an act of kindness we will encourage students to engage in! I encourage you to connect each night with your child around what the challenge was for the day and apply it at home as well!
Sincerely,
Ashley

2024-25 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Registration for the 2024-25 school year is open on our website here. Registration is for any new families to Franklin or new students looking to register for next year in 4K, 5K or up through 12th grade. If you have any friends or family in Franklin that plan to have children attend Franklin Public Schools next year, please pass this information along to them! Registering early helps to get all information in our system for planned communications. Any family who knows a student will not be returning for the next school year should notify your school’s main office staff.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
Wisconsin weather is upon us! Please make sure your son/daughter is dressed appropriately for the cold weather with hats, gloves, scarves, boots and snow pants. Snow pants and boots are required to be worn in order for students to play in the snow. However, this being Wisconsin, it can become warm and sunny by noontime. Please remind your child if they choose to remove their jacket during recess they are to be tied around their waist and not left on the playground.
The decision to have an outdoor or indoor recess is based on both the wind speed and temperature at 10:45 am. All students are required to go outside for recess daily unless the windchill is below zero or it is raining. If it is an outside recess day, all students must go outdoors. Please label your child's coat, hat, boots, & mittens with their name.
