Activities Office Update
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s Emergency Executive Order 20-99 continues to be in effect through December 18. As the activities office continues to manage the challenges of coaching and advising from a distance, our staff is offering unique opportunities to stay connected with student participants. Winter athletic programs have started and are being offered virtually. If you’d like to participate in distance coaching, follow the registration instructions found at www.faribaultfalcons.com. If you’d like to hold off on payment until we have further guidance, feel free to do so. We would still like to have your child participate!
Winter activities and performing arts programs are in full-swing and competing and performing virtually. There are many opportunities to participate in school-sponsored activities!
The MSHSL’s Board of Directors and the Return to Participation Task Force has announced three return-to-participation scenarios based on Governor Walz’s future guidance. The recommendations of the Return to Participation Task Force can be viewed, HERE.
The Faribault Public School’s Incident Command Center Team is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation in our community and will make a recommendation to return-to-participation based on our local situation.
As of today, in-person participation for Faribault Public School students is still suspended through January 4.
For more information on all FPS activity, arts, and athletic programs, visit www.faribaultfalcons.com.
