Ouch!
Grade 1 students taking care of their friend by helping with ice and a bandaid. They washed the feet of their friend, at the feet of Jesus washing the feet of his apostle! The light of Jesus shines bright at ÉPK!
Grade 3 Social Studies
Parent volunteer helping with a grade 3 In-School field trip to learn about different cultures around the world.
Library story time
To keep ÉPK's focus on literacy and to build a passion for reading, our awesome Librarian enthusiastically reads a Big Book about a greedy goat to grade 1 students. :-)
Grade 1 Science
Igloo
Chicks hatching
Psst...Can you keep a secret?
The students in the entire school have spoken so much Français they have filled the Parlez-Français vase for the second time this year! We are planning to celebrate on May 23, 2017 from 11:00AM - 11:55AM and we are inviting parents to help supervise the many fun activities such as outdoor play, free play in the gym, music playing, Hanging out with God in the chapel, board games in the library, arts and crafts, story reading, French film....if you are interested in supervising for just under an hour, please email epk@eics.ab.ca. Thank you in advance for coming and celebrating with your child.
Can you keep a secret? They don't know yet that it's coming...so please don't tell them. It's going to be a surprise!!

Rite to Learn Center (RLC) – Sherwood Park & Area
Free tutoring for students diagnosed with Learning Difficulties in reading and writing (dyslexia/dysgraphia).
Looking for students and volunteers
The RLC is presently serving young students (grade 3-6) with a possibility of increasing numbers. The center is volunteered based, hence the opportunity for free tutoring. If you are looking for a way to give back, this is a good opportunity for those who are looking to make a difference in a young person's educational success.
There are two ways to help.
1) Monitor: Minimal time commitment (once or twice a week or month) where you greet parents and students as well as checking in on the sessions every so often to verify all is going well.
2) Tutor: You will work with the students directly. This is a larger commitment of one hour twice a week for about 2-3 years. All training is free.
