Wreaths across America
On Veterans Day, and the days leading up to Veterans Day, our students and teachers conducted many conversations, activities and lessons on the importance of this holiday. We also announced an effort by students, staff and families to raise money to support an organization called Wreaths across America. This organization uses donations to fund beautiful wreaths that will be placed on the final resting place of veterans all throughout the U.S.A during the holiday season. Our charitable effort will be specifically for Mount Calvary Cemetery in Butler, where 775 veterans have been laid to rest. We will be accepting monetary donations until December 10. At WTB, the donations will be collected in homerooms.
