NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL...
Yesterday's Safety Day was a fantastic event! Thank you to all who donated items for the various station hosts and helped students during the event. A special thank you to the Kiwanis of Lincoln Hill for organizing the event and the Kiwanis of Lincoln for support to organize the K-Kids that helped throughout the day.
In a couple of weeks it will be time to sign up for your November parent/teacher report card conference. We use a great online scheduler which helps parents coordinate their schedules, especially if more than one child attends Foskett. Look for additional information next week for instructions to log on and the dates the scheduler will be available for you to book your appointment.
Mark your calendars - there is No School this Friday, October 5th and Monday, October 8th.

The Great American Fundraiser is Almost Over
Tomorrow is the last day to participate in the Great American Fundraiser. All orders are due by Thursday, October 4th by the end of the day. You can shop through catalogs sent home with your student or online at www.gaschoolstore.com. Click "I'm a parent or student" Use Organization ID# 2692150.
Or for direct access to our FRE page click here: FRE Fundraising page
Online cash donations are also available. This is a great way to reach those relatives that really don't want any merchandise but would like to support your student's school. For every increment of $20 donated, your student will receive credit towards an item towards a prize as well as a COOP. So, if a single donor donates $100, your student will receive credit for 5 COOPS and 5 items sold.
Thank you for supporting this important fundraiser.
Last Coop distribution day:
- Thursday - 10/4
Remember to have your "COOP-ONS" filled out and signed by a parent. Distribution will be after school from 2:40 - 3:00 in front of the school. Coops for Kindergarten classes will be distributed by the teacher at the end of instruction.

Socktober is here!
Foskett Ranch is holding its 3rd annual Sock drive for the entire month of October. Socktober is a now world wide collection to help out the less fortunate in the upcoming winter months. Socks are one of the most needed, but the least donated, items. Please send in new socks in all sizes and other items that would be helpful in the cold months ahead. Some other ideas can be found on the Socktober Website. http://soulpancake.com/socktober/
Collection rooms are: 108, 207, 304 and the office.
During the month of October, every Friday is crazy sock day. Show us your wacky socks!
Foskett Ranch is Linkin' Lincoln
The K Kids had a great visit from a representative from an organization called Linkin' Lincoln. They collect and distribute gently used clothing to families in Lincoln. There is a large need for gently used children's clothing. Foskett Ranch will be collecting clothing as a YEAR ROUND school project. With winter coming upon us, the need for warm clothing is the greatest right now, but we'll take clothes for all seasons. Thank you for helping Foskett spread kindness.
Collection rooms are: 108, 207, 304 and the office.
