Social Skills
This week Hamilton Lions reviewed disagreeing with others appropriately. When you have a different viewpoint, it is best to look at the person, use a calm voice, explain why you feel differently, and then listen to their viewpoint. Disagreeing appropriately helps both people understand and show respect for each other.

Summer Camp Opportunities for Chronic Illness and Disabilities
Texas Lions Camp
At Texas Lions Camp, we view camp as a time for campers to explore, exercise curiosity, and discover new interests and abilities. We want campers to attempt things that would normally be out of their reach, such as riding a horse, or rock climbing on our ropes course, or just being part of a team. https://www.lionscamp.com/
Camp For All
Camp For All transforms the world for children and adults with challenging illnesses or special needs. Camp For All intentionally delivers unique, truly barrier-free experiences throughout the year by collaborating with multiple not-for-profit organizations to enable thousands of campers and their families to discover life. Camp For All was proud to earn the Eleanor P. Eells Award in 2017 for program excellence as well as excellence in research in practice at camps. The national award, presented by the American Camp Association, recognized Camp For All 2U, the outreach program where we take Camp activities into hospitals. https://www.campforall.org/find-your-camp/
