Family Connections
Special Edition Newsletter for NF Families
Communication Strategies, Spring Survey Results, & Reminders
Sunday, August 1, 2021
As the calendar turns to the month of August, it's the season of new school clothes purchases, gathering classroom supplies, and the excitement of a new academic year. This special edition newsletter is designed to review both the communication survey results from the spring of 2021, as well as remind families how best to learn information and relevant facts throughout our upcoming new year. The regular school newsletter will officially begin in mid-August. As your principal, I take great pride in the communication methods from the NF staff. There are multiple platforms to gain information, and should you chose to engage, you shouldn't find yourself uninformed. Please take the time to review what works best for you and your family.
Please make note that the Family Connections newsletter is published twice a month, typically on the first and fifteenth day. It is emailed to all families, placed on the website, and shared via the SmartPhone app. The official 'Back to School' edition will be distributed later this month.
Families Provide Communication Feedback
This past spring, NF families were given the opportunity to provide feedback on our school's communication strategies. Over 200 families took part in the survey. Below, you can find a snapshot of some of the survey findings. It was a surprise to your school principal that many of you preferred recorded phone messages, (robo-calls), over most other methods. Certainly, the staff will take this under advisement to meet your needs.
Please click on the blue link below for a summary of the survey.
