Homeland Security

Thoughts from the Slumber Party

  • Defense and Security spending is also known as GDP (Gross Domestic Product)
  • Defense spending is currently between 3% and 4 %
  • The budget is at between 18% and 25%
  • In 2012 our GDP stood at $14.7 trillion

Homeland Security, in a basic sense, protects us from outsiders that wish to harm us.

Our stance is that we should have a defense to the point of we are protected but not so much that all we do is worry. We could cause other countries to want to hit us before our upgrade is complete if we improve it.
