Evaluation Instrument Webinar Opportunity

- Target Audience: This webinar is for school administrators.
- Webinar Description: This webinar will provide school administrators with an opportunity to consider features of the School Library Media Coordinator Evaluation Instrument such as the evaluation process, implementation of rubric performance indicators, and artifacts.

Constitution Day: September 17th
Discovery Education is broadcasting a Virtual Field Trip from the National Constitution Center next week, September 17th, which happens to be Constitution Day! This is a fantastic opportunity for your students to think critically about the Constitution and all the ways it affects our daily lives. Please share this great resource with your teachers. This content is appropriate for all grade levels.
Kwame Alexander visits UNCG
Kwame Alexander is a poet and author of eighteen books, includingThe Crossover, which received the 2015 John Newbery Medal for the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children. The Crossover is a novel in verse for young people. -
When and Where:
- September 14- Kwame Alexander will be at UNCG at 7 p.m. in the Elliott University Center Auditorium
- September 12- Kwame Alexander will be in Winston-Salem at the Bookmarks Festival, (time to be announced).
Both free and open to the public.

You are personally invited to one of three upcoming Apple Tech Updates planned for Greensboro, North Carolina in late September and early October.
Apple will take this opportunity to highlight some of the upcoming features of iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 including some new workflow opportunities for iPad deployments.
Please register as soon as possible as space is limited and feel free to pass this along to anyone at your school that may benefit by attending.
Apple's intent is to hold at least another one or two of these updates once venues can be identified.
