Among her recent books are Integrative Play Therapy, and Child-Centered Play Therapy Research: The Evidence Base for Practitioners. Director of the University of North Texas Center for Play Therapy, Sue is a past president of the Association for Play Therapy and recipient of the 2007 APT Outstanding Research Award.
