A peek into our week
**PARENT - TEACHER CONFERENCES**
Thank you to all who came to visit on conference day. I enjoyed meeting with you and sharing about your child's progress. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not ever hesitate to contact me. We are on this journey together.
Math- Our Number Sense focus this week was on skip counting. We focused on multiples of 2, 5, and 10. Please focus on 3's and 4's for next week. This basic skill will lay the foundation for multiplication and factoring later on down the road. Just think about how easy it was for you to learn your 2's, 5's, and 10's in multiplication.
We are beginning to work on Place Value into the hundreds.
Bible - "Being Kind" and Paul displayed kindness. We will focus on Bible examples and how that looks for us today.
Social Studies - We finished up on "Being Responsible" and "Being a Good Citizen" this week. Next week we will begin our Life Cycle Unit in Science. I have ordered a Butterfly farm and we will receive our Painted Lady larva after Fall Break. This is always lots of fun! We will focus on butterflies, frogs, pumpkins, and apples. BUT, I am sure we will also be fitting in spiders and bats for October!
