The police have been called and are on their way. According to an instructor in an adjacent classroom, a male instructor who went to the classroom in an attempt to calm the shooter has also been taken hostage. The woman is highly agitated and is screaming at her husband and his students.
Will you evacuate some or all of the school?
For what contingencies must you plan now?
What will you tell parents? How will you notify them?

Safety Drills - March!
Later this month, our campus will be practicing two safety drills. Next Monday at 9:00, we will practice a Lock Down drill. We will be communicating this drill with our families. The drill will be at 9:30.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
Every minute Counts!
· School Starts at 7:40am and the final bell rings at 7:50am.
· Your student’s attendance directly affects their success and we want them to SUCCEED!
· 3 Parent Notes for excused absences will be accepted for each student per year.
· If your student has 10+ unexcused absences in a 6 month period, your case will be referred to attendance court.
· If your student has 18+ total absences, excused or unexcused, the attendance committee will review absences and create a program for credit recovery in order to prevent retention.
