Scripps Spelling Bee

It was an epic day for a spelling bee. Twenty four students participated but after close to two hours of spelling the winners were decided. Congratulations to Isabelle, Braleigh, Isabella and Chloe. All winning contestants received trophies but Isabelle, our top speller, received thousands of new words to study and spell as she goes on to represent KAES in our local regional spelling bee. Best wishes, Isabelle.

Both Kathy and Allyson gave their hearts to God and chose to be baptized. God has big plans for these two incredible ladies.

NWEA MAP Test was this week and has been extended into next week

Students were very focused as they took their MAP tests this week. We did experience some technical difficulties that were quickly cleared up by the testing organization, however with students also testing from home we were given a one week extension. Results from this test help teachers better understand what your child knows and needs to learn.

Lunch order is to be placed with the homeroom teacher each day. $4.25 small $5.00 large

All meals are vegetarian


Monday - No School (MLK Holiday)


Tuesday - Tostadas, Beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole and juice


Wednesday - Tamales, beans cheese, rice, salad, salsa and juice


Thursday - Quesadilla, rice, beans, salsa, salad and juice


Friday - Hot dogs (vegetarian), Tater tots, fruit and juice
