Building Closed to the Public/Limited Office Hours

The school building is closed to the public and staffed only limited hours during the governor's freeze due to COVID. Our office staff is working from home as they are able and can take phone calls; there will be someone in the office for deliveries or pre-arranged appointments Mondays and Fridays 8:00-12:30 and Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00-2:30. If you have business with our front office, you are encouraged to call the office in advance for an appointment to ensure that there will be someone there who can assist you.

Attendance Reminders

Attendance in CDL has meant quite a few shifts from our former practice, however our process for calling the attendance line when your child is sick remains the same. If your child does not or will not attend any synchronous (live) or asynchronous (google classroom) on a school day, please call our attendance line at: 503-844-1143. This ensures your child's attendance is reported accurately.

Holiday Guide from The Hillsboro Chamber

Chamber Holiday Guide. The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce has put together a Holiday Guide featuring all the ways you can shop, eat, spend, and enjoy locally this holiday season.

Lightopia is a socially-safe experience to be enjoyed from inside your vehicle. The half-mile journey of holiday lights will dazzle your eyes and delight your spirit. Held at the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex, Lightopia opens Friday, Nov. 27, and will remain open until Jan. 3, 2021. Lightopia will also be open every Saturday in January. The display will be closed to the general public on Wednesdays to celebrate social service organizations throughout Hillsboro. There is no cost to visit Lightopia, but pre-registration is required, and visitors are encouraged to bring a canned food donation or unwrapped gift. These will support local food pantries and the Toy & Joy program (through Dec. 10), in partnership with the Hillsboro Fire & Rescue Department and the Hillsboro Elks Lodge.
