Select families must complete residency verification before registration
Each year, the district identifies incoming freshmen families and current student families who must verify residency prior to registering their student for the following school year. Families who received a letter from the district in February requesting residency verification must complete the process prior to registering for the 2022-23 school year. Please visit www.leyden212.org/residencyupload to complete residency verification as soon as possible to avoid delays in the registration process.
Parents/Guardians will need their student's residency “snapcode” to complete this process. Parents/Guardians who misplaced this “snapcode” may contact the Assistant Principal's office at 847-451-3025 (East) or 847-451-3121 (West).

Alice in Wonderland - Improvised!
Alice in Wonderland is a story known for its many adaptations. With the spring play timeslot only offering a few weeks to rehearse until performances, the play itself was a classic choice that many could get behind. But for Frank Bavone, director of Leyden’s Alice in Wonderland, where others saw an easy choice, he saw an opportunity to turn the story on its head.
“I put the concept together of doing this as an improv show, and not having a script,” said Bavone. “So we're calling it Alice in Wonderland Unscripted, because we're trying to do it for a different purpose. Like it's not to tell the timeless classic story. It's to tell a different story of a journey through (Wonderland) and the people you meet.”
