Teacher Goals:

Thank you to everyone for completing your personal goals for the 35% student achievement and the 65% iObservation Instructional element goals. Your personal goals will help us meet our grade level goals and our building goals by focusing on student achievement and instruction. The iObservation goals will be entered into iObservation and will be submitted for approval. If you have any questions, please contact Sara or myself.


PLC Focus:

Thank you to everyone for your hard work and dedication to improving student achievement! Our sessions on October 6, 2017 were designed to help your PLC apply the learning from Dylan Wiliam. Your efforts to prioritize standards and focus on essential benchmarks will help guide our work this year.


SFAS Inter-Session:

During the week of November 6-10 students in School For All Seasons will be given the opportunity to participate in the Targeted Services Inter-Session on Environment. Students will be participating in a project-based opportunity to integrate all of the pieces of STEAM. More information will be distributed next week.

Students Use Math Skills to Breakout!

Students in the classrooms of Caroline Resler and Becky Strand used their math skills to breakout. Our technology Integration Coach Rob Swanson worked with Caroline and Becky to set things up and students were given 45 minutes to complete the tasks to break out of the box and solve the problem. Student worked in groups and demonstrated patience as they worked through the series of clues. Thank you to Rob, Caroline, and Becky for providing this excellent opportunity to the students of School For All Seasons. This page houses all of the Cambridge-Isanti Professional Development Resources. On this site you can find the On Target newsletter by teaching and learning, Technology Resources, Instructional Resources, In-Service Day agendas and information, Building Professional Development Information, Innovation Information, and teacher Discussion Boards. This is another site that should be bookmarked for easy access.


iObservation:

Our Professional Development and Evaluation is tied to the work of Robert Marzano and his research. iObservation is an online tool to help with the process of teacher evaluation. This tool will be used to develop your 65% Professional Growth Plan which is tied to elements in Domain One. This is also what you will use to do reflection activities and your formal summative evaluation as well as your informal peer observation.
