Music in Our Schools Month
Week 29 - Spring has Sprung!
This week was District IV Choir Assessment at Manassas Park Middle School! We hosted all middle schools in the Manassas Park, Manassas City, and Prince William County districts.
MPMS CHOIR is happy to announce the scores for our recent District Assessment for our 8th Grade Men’s Choir and 8th Grade Women’s Choir.
Men’s Choir:
Stage Judge #1 – Excellent/II
Stage Judge #2 – Excellent/II
Stage Judge #3 – Excellent/II
Sight-Reading Judge – Excellent/II
Women’s Choir:
Stage Judge #1 – Superior/I
Stage Judge #2 – Excellent/II
Stage Judge #3 – Excellent/II
Sight-Reading Judge – Superior/I
Both groups received a mixture of Superiors and Excellents for subcategories (blend, tone, pitch, rhythm, expressivity, stage presence)

Thank you to the student helpers in 8th grade ensembles who ran this event so smoothly. We love hosting and sharing our building and are proud and thankful for an awesome event!

SPRING SPORTS:
Tryouts start March 25 for boys track, girls soccer, baseball and softball. Athletes must have concussion training and sports physical on file in order to try out.
