Message from the Principal

Dear Wamogo Families,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable winter break.

I wanted to remind all parents and students that we are still scheduled for an active shooter lockdown drill on Tuesday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. Just to be clear, the drill will operate the same as a normal lockdown drill. The only difference is that police will be responding to time their ability to access the building. Since the goal is to have them practice getting here as quickly as possible, they will be using their sirens. However, officers will not be entering the building in an aggressive manner.

I am confident that this continued preparation will only strengthen the overall safety and security at Wamogo.

Thank you for your support,

Sabin Loveland

Principal

Project Graduation

The Grad Night '19 Committee is sponsoring a Beautycounter fundraiser for the month of January. All proceeds from January sales will be donated to the Grad Night event. Beautycounter is a makeup and skin care company whose mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone. Whereas 1400 ingredients have either been restricted in the EU, only 30 have been banned in the United States. Beautycounter bans 1500 harmful or questionable ingredients from their products, as many are linked to cancer, reproductive toxicity or endocrine disruption. To learn more about Beautycounter and to view/purchase products, please go to https://www.beautycounter.com/leahsmith/social/479797?goto=/products/winter-sale.
