A&M Consolidated High School
News from Elder's Desk
It is bittersweet to see the year coming to an end but exciting to know the positive impact that we have made in the lives of our 12th-grade students. For many of our seniors, this is their last week of school at AMCHS. As you ponder on what you would like to say to them, click here to access, 30 Things to Tell Students You’ll Never See Again. The article provides a list of ideas to share with your students before they graduate—utilize this opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As our seniors complete their last week at AMCHS, rest assured they have several shenanigans up their sleeves. I have conversed with several seniors about their harmless intentions, but they do not always think about the negative impact their behavior will have on others. Our campus expectations that were established in August are still in place today:
- hall duty before school and between each passing period
- IDs are required
- hall passes are mandatory
- dress code is enforced
- report any suspicious activity
- contact parents of struggling learners
It has been an awesome year, but we cannot let up! Be driven by your purpose and make sure these last two weeks are spetacular.
