Flipping Forward with Purpose
Did you know there are only 14 Fridays (not counting this week) until the end of the school year (I'm not counting, just preparing for summer school-ha!)....
As a reminder, here is a tentative schedule of our day's event on Monday, February 15th -
8:00 - 11:15 a.m. - Fairview
11:15 - 12:30 p.m. - Lunch
12:30 - 3:45 p.m. - Bellevue West (Sessions 1, 2, and 3)
Our primary focus for the morning will be PBIS and "investigating" our Pearson Reading Curriculum as whole group before breaking into your grade level groups for collaboration.
During collaboration you will have the opportunity to further dig into Winter MAP results, review your grade level Continuous Improvement Goals in the areas of Reading and Math, Individual Student Goal Setting, and the February and March Student Engagement Strategies.
8:00-8:20 a.m. - PBIS (from the Feb. staff meeting agenda) - Click HERE
8:20-9:10 a.m. - Pearson Reading Curriculum - Literacy Facilitators will be presenting
1. A copy of Sleuth (they are in packs of 6)
2. Writing to Sources (it's a thicker resource book that came with your Pearson materials)
3. Close Reading - I will have a hand-out for you :)
9:10-9:30 a.m. - Grades 3-6 - Check4Learning - Media Center with Amber J.

Here is a tentative plan for this fun-filled week!
Monday, Feb. 29 - Tie Yourself to a Good Dr. Seuss Book - Wear a tie and bring your favorite Dr. Seuss book to share with the class.
Tuesday, Mar. 1 - Fox In Socks Day - Wear your favorite silly or mismatched socks to school.
Wednesday, Mar. 2 - Let's Get Wacky! Wear your clothes mismatch, inside out or backwards.
Thursday, Mar. 3 - Sleep Book Day - Wear your favorite pair of pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to school.
Friday, Mar. 4 - Green Eggs and Ham Day - Wear something green to school
